A full day on art direction: concept, to call sheet, to the set actually standing on the floor in front of you.
Most art direction teaching stops at the mood board. This one does not. We spend the morning on how a look is decided and defended, and the afternoon building one on the cyclorama with real material, real budget constraints and a real deadline at 5pm.
Twelve places, because more than that and nobody gets their hands on anything.
For photographers, designers, stylists and producers who keep ending up responsible for how things look without ever having been taught how.
